1623

François Le Vaillant receives from the hands of Catherine de Clèves, Duchess of Guise and Countess of Eu, letters patent authorizing him to establish a glassworks in the low forest of Eu, between La Haye de Guimerville and Sénarpont, at a place called Le Courval .

In 1853, the Courval glassworks produced their first bottle designed by a perfumer. This is Guerlain🐝 Imperial Cologne, dedicated to Empress Eugenie. Le Courval achieves a technical feat with this exclusive and prestigious bottle, which will be sold in a limited edition.

1883

In Paris, the earthenware maker Pierre Deroche founded the Maison Deroche in 1783, specializing in the painting of porcelain objects, then in the finishing of glass objects. A factory to fully automate the bottle manufacturing processes is built on the Guimerville site, a few kilometers from the historic Courval site. The investment made represents one year of turnover.

1983
