For several months, at Pochet du Courval, in the Beaugency and Gamaches sites, 100% of bottles and jars are decorated with water-based varnishes. The use of water-based varnishes guarantees the environmental benefit of the products.
In water-based varnishes, the solvent part is replaced by water which evaporates after application. This avoids emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds – which are particles that are released into the atmosphere – and drastically reduces the impact of a product’s production process and its carbon footprint.
The expertises of Beaugency and Gamaches sites are the decoration as well as the assembly, but also in-hand decoration with “Les Abeilles” bottle by Guerlain.
The 2 sites now have approximately 300 employees. They received the label Living Heritage Company (“Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant”) for their unique know-how
